Is my credit card account changing?

*For Tilt Cash Rewards cardholders: We are introducing a new name for your credit card, the Tilt Essentials card, and you’ll get a shiny new card as well, but the terms and benefits of your account will not change.
Will I receive a new card in the mail?
- If you are a Tilt Mastercard cardholder or a Tilt Cash Rewards Visa cardholder, you will receive a new card with our new Tilt branding in the mail. Your card number will not change and you may continue to use your old card if you prefer. Look out for an email from us with more information on when to expect your new card.
- If you are a Petal cardholder, you will not receive a new card and can continue to use your existing card.
Note: Beginning March 30, 2026, we will no longer be issuing out cards on Tilt Mastercard accounts. These cards can no longer be used for purchases after that date. If your Tilt Mastercard account has a balance, payments and statements will continue until it’s paid off. Once paid in full, the account will close and cannot be reopened.
Will my card number change?

For Tilt Cash Rewards and Tilt Mastercard users: Even though you’re getting a new card in the mail, your card number, expiration date, and security code won’t change. This means that you won’t need to worry about updating your card information anywhere it’s saved.
Do I have to switch to my new credit card?
- Nope! You can continue to use your existing card if you prefer. Your existing card will continue to work until you activate your new one or your existing card expires.
Will there be a change on my credit report?
- For Tilt Mastercard cardholders: We do not report this product to the credit bureaus and this will not change going forward.
- For Tilt Cash Rewards: Our company name on your credit report will appear as Tilt going forward. The account won’t be considered a new line or inquiry.

How do I apply for a credit card?
- You can apply on our website, tilt.com/credit-cards. If you’re a current Tilt subscriber, you’ll need to cancel your subscription before you can apply.
Can I have a credit card and another Tilt product at the same time?
- We don’t allow our customers to have more than one lending product at a time. If you’re interested in applying for a credit card, you’ll need to repay and close any existing products you have with us and cancel your subscription.
