How credit limit increases work
Your Tilt credit card comes with a starting credit limit assigned at approval. You may be reviewed for an increase over time based on your account activity.
When can I be reviewed for a credit limit increase?
Eligible cardmembers can be reviewed as early as 4 months after account opening. A review doesn't guarantee an increase — eligibility is based on factors like your payment history, credit utilization, and overall account standing.
We report your account activity to all 3 major credit bureaus. Making on-time payments and keeping your balance low are the best ways to build your credit profile and improve your eligibility over time.
How to check your current limit:
Open the Tilt app and go to the Credit Card tab.
Your current credit limit and available credit are displayed under the View account details dropdown under Highlights
Can I request a credit limit increase?
Limit increase reviews happen automatically based on your account history. There's no manual request process — if you're eligible, we'll reach out. Keep making on-time payments to stay on track.
