Your Line of Credit is reported monthly to the 3 major credit bureaus — Experian, TransUnion, and Equifax. Consistent, on-time payments are one of the most effective ways to build your credit over time.

What we report each month:

  • Payment history (on-time and missed payments)

  • Current balance and available credit limit

  • Account status (active, overdue, or closed)

When your credit report updates:

We submit a credit data file to the bureaus each month. Updates typically appear on your credit report within 30 days of the reporting date.

On-time payments:

Every on-time payment is reported as a positive mark on your credit file. Payment history is one of the largest factors in your credit score, so making at least your minimum payment by the 21st each month directly supports your credit health.

Missed or late payments:

A payment not made by your due date may be reported as late. An account that reaches 180 or more days past due may be reported as a charge-off, which can significantly impact your score.

Disputing a credit reporting error:

If you believe something on your credit report related to your Tilt account is incorrect, contact us through the Tilt app or by calling support. We'll investigate and correct any errors with the bureaus.
